DLG Gold Award for Plange Diavita 405 and 550

The strong wheat flours Diavita Type 405 and 550 have undergone strict scientific quality tests by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) and have been given the highest award – Gold.

The independent experts of the DLG test products without knowing the product name or the manufacturer. The most important sensory criteria after the baking tests are the appearance, crumb and consistency, smell and taste. Standardised test procedures are used, supplemented by laboratory analyses. The packaging, labelling and content information of the products are also checked.

The gold award confirms Plange's quality concept of gently processing only selected raw materials. In the case of Diavita, this is cleaned soft wheat. The strict monitoring of every step in the production process guarantees the consistently high quality of the flour in terms of taste and baking properties.
